Francesco Amendola comes from Cosenza, a town in southern Italy. He’s married to Lisa and together they have two children Sophie and Martin. Francesco has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and he is passionate about investing a great deal of time and effort over the coming years to make Sweetaly an utter success. After spending 4 years in the US where he worked and studied, in 2008 as one of the founders launched “Il Gingko” the largest organic food store in the province of Pordenone, north east of Italy. Francesco being in the food business was fascinated by the art of the one of the finest culinary product of the Italian tradition: Gelato. So he decided to learn all the secrets of Artisan Gelato from the best masters in Italy.
